Social worker jobs is divided into two groups:
- Adult services: you might treat adults with mental health problems or drug addiction; perpetrators supports older people or working with the homeless.

Day to day:
Social workers spend a lot of time with service users offer support and advice, build relationships and to assess their situation. Qualifications:
You must have a BA honors in social work or a MA in social work. The general social care Council (GSCC) has a list of approved courses on its website.
The degree is a three-year course combines hands-on experience (more than 200 days will be spent in the field) with the theory. The course is open to applicants of any age and can be taken or part-or full-time basis.Applicants should have some experience (volunteer or paid) in social care.
The degree of social work that you must apply:
- Five GSCEs (level A-C)
- At least two BTEC National Diploma levels-A or A level 3 in the healthcare and social services
- Candidates may qualify by taking the two-year MA in social work.
- When you qualify, you must sign up for the GSCC care record and reapply every three years.
