Types:
Social worker jobs is divided into two groups:

Qualifications:

You must have a BA honors in social work or a MA in social work. The general social care Council (GSCC) has a list of approved courses on its website.

The degree is a three-year course combines hands-on experience (more than 200 days will be spent in the field) with the theory. The course is open to applicants of any age and can be taken or part-or full-time basis.Applicants should have some experience (volunteer or paid) in social care.
The degree of social work that you must apply:
  • Five GSCEs (level A-C)
  • At least two BTEC National Diploma levels-A or A level 3 in the healthcare and social services
  • Candidates may qualify by taking the two-year MA in social work.
  • When you qualify, you must sign up for the GSCC care record and reapply every three years.
